                        1.  Voice Vote

 

                  The administration recommends the Board approve the following:

 

                              a.   19-11 - Employee #2321 an unpaid medical leave of absence beginning on or about February 5, 2019, through on or about February 26, 2019, with insurance, as per the Maintenance Collective Bargaining Agreement.

 

                              b.   19-12 - Employee #1498 an unpaid medical leave of absence beginning on or about January 16, 2019, through on or about March 18, 2019, with insurance, as per the Custodial Collective Bargaining Agreement.

 

                              c.   19-13 - Employee #4290 one day of unpaid FMLA medical leave of absence on December 21, 2018, with insurance, as per Federal Government regulations.

 

                              d.   19-14 - Revised Master District Volunteer List for the 2018-19 school year.               

 

                              e.   19-15 – Additions and deletions to the Substitute Listing for the 2018-2019 school year.

 

                              f.    19-22 - Employee #3194 an extension of an unpaid medical leave of absence beginning on or about December 15, 2018, through on or about January 18, 2019, no insurance, as per Federal Government regulations.

 

                              g.   19-23 - Employee #4297 an extension of an unpaid childrearing leave of absence through on or about March 29, 2019, no insurance.

 

                              h.   19-25 - Employee #1488 an unpaid medical leave of absence beginning on or about June 4, 2019, through on or about June 5, 2019, with insurance, as per Federal Government Regulations.

 

                              i.    19-26 - Resignation of Michael Seng, Social Studies Teacher, for the purpose of super-annuated retirement, effective June 5, 2019, or the last teacher day of the 2018-2019 school year.

 

                              j.    19-29 – Resignation of Deborah Ohmacht, Director of Special Education, for the purpose of superannuated retirement, effective September 6, 2019.

 

 

                        2.  Roll Call Vote

 

                        The administration recommends the Board approve the following:

 

                              a.   19-09 - Revised Community Education Spring 2019 roster of instructors and stipends for the 2018-19 school year.

 

                              b.   19-10 - Jonathan Jenny, Director of Operations, effective July 1, 2019.  Salary will be $85,000, with benefits, and in accordance with the Act 93 Agreement.

 

                              c.   19-17 - Michael Missmer, Head Girls Soccer Coach, effective for the 2019-2020 school year, for a total compensation of $7,934.00, pursuant to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, pending receipt of acceptable documentation.  Stipend may be adjusted upon settlement of the new NAEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.

 

                              d.   19-18 – Extra-curricular staff member and stipend for the 2018-2019 school year.

 

                              e.     19-24 - Extension of Elizabeth Kish’s employment as a Long Term Substitute Kindergarten Teacher at George Wolf Elementary School, effective retroactive to October 1, 2018, through on or about March 29, 2019.  Her salary will be $274.23, per diem, no benefits.

 

                              f.    19-27 - Voluntary transfer of Vilma Frederick from Special Education Instructional Assistant at the High School to Library Instructional Assistant at the High School, effective January 28, 2019.  Her salary will be in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between NASD and NAESPA.

 

 

            B.        Finances

 

                        The administration recommends the Board approve the following:

 

                        1.     19-02 - The following bids for fuel oil for the 2019-2020 school year as awarded by the Northampton/Monroe/Pike County Joint Purchasing Board:

                                    - #2 Fuel Oil (Truck Transport) @ $1.9622/gal. to Petroleum Traders of Fort Wayne, IN

                        - #2 Fuel Oil (Tank Wagon) @ $3.9778/gal. to Talley Petroleum of Grantville, PA

                        - Unleaded Gasoline 87 Octane (Tank Wagon) @ $1.7181/gal. to PAPCO of Aston, PA

                        - Bio-Diesel (Tank Wagon) @ $2.0849/gal. plus $0.0325/gal. for winter additive to PAPCO of Aston, PA

                                    - Off-Road Diesel (Tank Wagon) @ $3.811/gal. (fluctuating) plus $0.035/gal. for winter additive to Talley Petroleum of Grantville, PA

 

                        2.   19-04 - Agreement with Lehigh University for the rental of Stabler Arena for the 2019 graduation ceremonies at a rate of $8,202.98 plus any actual expenses.

 

                        3.   19-06 - Authorize the issuance of General Obligation Bonds, Series of 2019, in the aggregate principal amount of $9,995,000 for the purpose of funding a portion of the Lehigh Elementary School Project and other capital projects and the costs of issuing the Bonds pursuant to the Local Government Unit Debt Act of 1996 and the Resolution.

 

                        4.   19-08 - Catalog Fixed Discount Program as awarded by the IU20 Joint Purchasing Board for the period January 1, 2019, through December 31, 2019.

 

                        5.   19-16 - 2018-2019 Budget Transfers.

 

                        6.   19-28 – Bills for payment.

 

 

            C.        Miscellaneous

 

                        The administration recommends the Board approve the following:
