                        1.  Voice Vote

 

                  The administration recommends the Board approve the following:

 

                        a.   19-507 - Employee #4669, an unpaid FMLA leave of absence extension, through on or about November 8, 2019, with insurance, as per Federal Government regulations.

 

                        b.   19-514 Additions and deletions to the Substitute Listing for the 2019-2020 school year.

 

                        c.   19-515 Revised Master District Volunteer List for the 2019-2020 school year.

 

 

                        2.  Roll Call Vote

 

                        The administration recommends the Board approve the following:

 

                        a.   19-509 Attendance of Ms. Nicolette Teles at the 2019 PA Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development Conference in Hershey, PA, on November 25-26, 2019, at an approximate cost of $502.24.  The amount is included in the 2019-2020 Board approved curriculum budget.

 

                        b.   19-520 Voluntary transfer of Breann Williams from Grade 4 Elementary Teacher at George Wolf Elementary to Special Education Teacher at Lehigh Elementary, effective on or before December 13, 2019.

 

 

B.        Curriculum

 

                        The administration recommends the Board approve the following:

 

                        1.   19-459R NASD District Level Comprehensive Plan July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2023.

 

 

C.        Finances

 

                        The administration recommends the Board approve the following:

 

                        1.   19-503 - Administration to prepare and solicit annual bids for the following supplies and services for the 2020-2021 school year:  Maintenance/Custodial Supplies, Instructional Supplies, Gasoline/Diesel, and Fuel Oil/Natural Gas.

 

                         2.   19-504 - Vendor(s) for Fuel Oil for the 2020-2021 school year as to be recommended by the Northampton/Monroe/Pike County Joint Purchasing Board and to be approved by the Colonial IU#20 Board of Directors at their December 2019 regularly scheduled meeting.

 

                        3.   19-505 - Administration to work with PFM Financial Advisors LLC in conjunction with the issuance of General Obligation Bonds, Series of 2020, in the approximate amount of $9,400,000 in early calendar year 2020 for the next phase of the new Lehigh Elementary School Project.

 

                        4.   19-506 - Administration to work with PFM Financial Advisors LLC in conjunction with the issuance of General Obligation Bonds, Series A of 2020, the proceeds of which will be used to currently refund all or a portion of the outstanding 2012A Bonds, and the General Obligation Bonds, Series AA of 2020, the proceeds of which will be used to currently refund all or a portion of the outstanding 2015 Bonds with a minimum net savings target of $75,000 for the 2020A Bonds and $150,000 for the 2020AA Bonds.

 

                        5.   19-516 Bills for Payment.

 

                        6.   19-518 2019-2020 Budget Transfers.

 

 

D.        Miscellaneous

 

                        The administration recommends the Board approve the following:

 

                        1.   19-508 - Memorandum of Understanding between the Northampton Area School District and the Northampton County Children and Youth Agency, effective immediately.

 

                        2.   19-517 Expulsion Hearing Waiver for student number 2019-01.
