At the regular meeting of the Board of Education, the Board approved the following:

 

        List of professional staff transfers effective with the 2010-2011 school year.

        Resignation of Joana Spinelli from the position of Assistive Technology Assistant, effective August 13, 2010.

        Resignation of Mike McDaniel from the position of Head Baseball Coach, effective August 9, 2010

        Resignation of Beth Borelli from the position of Special Education Instructional Assistant at the Middle School, effective August 6, 2010.

        Listings of the District Volunteer master listing for the 2010-2011 school year.

        Updated job description for the following position:   Assistive Technology Assistant.

        Increase from .5 LTS to a 1.0 full time LTS special education teacher position for Robert Edwards, II, at Lehigh Elementary School for the 2010-2011 school year to be funded out of Federal IDEA Stimulus Monies.

        Termination of Donna Cesanek, Temporary One-on-One Special Education Instructional Assistant, effective August 23, 2010.

        Substitute Lists for 2010-11.

        Revised listings for Extra-Curricular & Supplemental Positions for the 2010-2011 school year, effective July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011.

        Susan Gallagher, LTS Special Education Teacher at Siegfried Elementary, effective August 27, 2010, for the 2010-2011 school year.  Her salary will be $47,657.00, with benefits, based on a Masterís degree and Step 1, Year 1 of the current salary schedule.

        Attendance of Board Members Darin Arthofer, Robert Koch, and Jean Rundle at the PASA/PSBA School Leadership Conference in Hershey, Pennsylvania, October 12-15, 2010, at an estimated cost of $1,969.75.

        Ronia Allan, TPE Special Education Teacher at Siegfried Elementary, effective August 27, 2010.  Her salary will be $44,156.00, with benefits, based on a BA degree and Step 1, Year 1 of the current salary schedule.

        Jeffrey Gober, Middle Shift Semi-Skilled Maintenance employee, effective August 24, 2010.  His rate of pay will be $18.75 per hour (90% of the position rate), with benefits, in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.

        Kelly Allabach, TPE Grade 1 Elementary Teacher at Siegfried Elementary, effective August 27, 2010.  Her salary will be $47,657.00, with benefits, based on a MA degree and Step 1, Year 1 of the 2010-2011 salary schedule.

        Jamie Booth, LTS Special Education Teacher at Siegfried Elementary, effective August 27, 2010, to on or about December 23, 2010.  Her per diem rate will be $234.87, without benefits, based on a Bachelorís degree and Step 1, Year 1 of the current salary schedule.

        Karen Wilson, LTS Special Education Teacher at Lehigh Elementary, effective August 27, 2010, to on or about November 1, 2010.  Her per diem rate will be $239.12, without benefits, based on a Bachelorís +15 degree and Step 1, Year 1 of the current salary schedule.

        Revised Policy 233-Suspension and Expulsion, effective August 24, 2010.

    2009-10 Earned Income Tax Audit Report as prepared by local auditors, Gorman & Associates.
