At the regular meeting of the Board of Education, the Board approved the following:
∑ Termination of the temporary assignments for 2010-2011.
∑ Resignation of Angela Mitchell, Marching Band Assistant (Brass) and Musical Instrumental Advisor, effective May 6, 2011.
∑ Resignation of Karen Fleming, Principal of Lehigh Elementary School, for the purpose of retirement, effective December 30, 2011.
∑ Classroom Technology Lead Teacher job description effective May 24, 2011.
∑ Additions and deletions to the Substitute List.
∑ Parthenia D. Mungin-Lubin with children Jasmine, Joanna, and Jadah, and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Millheim with children Noah, Jenna and Samuel to attend the PDE Title I State Parent Conference at Seven Springs, PA, on July 19-21, 2011 at a cost not to exceed $2,270.00. The cost of the conference will be covered through the Title I Parent Involvement funds which have been budgeted specifically for this purpose. There is no cost to the District for this conference.
∑ Memorandum of Agreement between the Northampton Area School District and the Northampton Area Educators Association (NAEA).
∑ The approval of the PA Department of Education regarding the following documents:
*PlanCon Part J: Project Accounting Based on Final Costs for George Wolf Elem Project No.
*PlanCon Part J: Project Accounting Based on Final Costs for Col. John Siegfried Elem Project
*PlanCon Part J: Project Accounting Based on Final Costs for High School Project No. 3179.
*Permanent Reimbursement Rates due to the Approval of PlanCon Part J, High School Project
No. 3179 for lease numbers 002345, 042345, and 102345.
∑ Athletic ticket prices for the 2011-12 school year as follows:
Senior Citizen $1.00
∑ FY 2011-12 Supply and Equipment Bid for art, audio visual, cleaning, maintenance, general supplies, general art, health, industrial arts, physical education, computer and duplicating to the various vendors as listed on the summary report at a total cost of $216,777.77.
∑ The revised 2011-12 Bethlehem Area Vocational Technical School General Fund Budget in the amount of $9,727,833 with the NASD portion of $2,210,018 required to fund the budget.
∑ The following depositories for school funds for the 2011-12 fiscal year:

∑ Reappoint NASD Business Office, as the 2011-12 NASD tax collector for Bath Boro, Chapman Boro, Allen Township, Moore Township, and East Allen Township.
∑ Authorize the Administration to pay final invoices applicable to the 2010-11 budget and to make necessary budget transfers to close the fiscal year in conjunction with Gormanand Associates, P.C., the districtís independent auditor.
∑ Alternate billing agreement for the Northampton Community College for the 2011-12 fiscal year.
∑ Treasurerís Report.
∑ Bills for payment.
∑ Expulsion Hearing Waiver for High School student number 2010-30.
∑ Revised school calendar for the 2010-11 school year.
