At the regular meeting of the Board of Education, the Board approved the following:

 ·         The following job description, effective August 27, 2012:  Special Education Lead Teacher.

·         Revised list of special education teachers to complete the IEP process including the writing and holding of the IEP meeting for the summer 2012.

·         Tresa Bartosh, Chemistry Teacher - LTS at the High School, effective August 27, 2012, for the 2012-2013 school year.  Her salary will be $46,475.20, with benefits, based on a Bachelor’s +15 degree and Step 1.

·         Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches and designated stipends, for the 2012-2013 school year, effective July 1, 2012, through June 30, 2013.

·         District Coordinators’ and Team Leaders’ compensation, per the attached listing, effective July 1, 2012, through June 30, 2013.

·         Daniel Snyder, Guidance Counselor LTS at the Middle School, effective August 27, 2012, through January 28, 2013.  His pro-rated salary will be $25,390.82, without benefits, based on a Master’s Degree and Step 1.

·         Tina Ventresca, Special Education Teacher LTS at George Wolf Elementary, effective August 27, 2012, for the 2012-2013 school year.  Her salary will be $46,475.20, with benefits, based on a Bachelor’s +15 degree and Step 1.

·         Adoption of the following revised policies, effective July 10, 2012:   249.1 – Anti-Bullying, 304 – Administrator Selection/Hiring Process, 304.1 - Nepotism, 304.2 – Exit Interviews, 404 - Teacher Selection /Hiring Process, 404.1 - Nepotism, 404.2 – Exit Interviews, 504.1 - Nepotism, 504.2 - Exit Interviews, and 505- Employment of Substitute Noncertificated Employees.

·         D’Huy Engineering for project design, bid preparation/evaluation and engineering services for the replacement of the chiller at George Wolf Elementary School as per the “Engineer of Record Agreement” approved by the Board on May 18, 2009, along with the amendment which was approved on June 8, 2009.

·         Lunch prices for the 2012-13 school year as follows:

·         2012-13 A la Carte prices for the Lunch program.

·         Donation of library books, valued at $1,939.00 from Dr. Michael Baird, for the Northampton Area School District Libraries.

·         Bills for Payment.

·         High School Handbook, Washington’s Crossing Handbook, Elementary Schools Supplement Information (Building Specific), and Secondary Handbook Sign-Off/ Permission Forms Booklet for the 2012-13 school year.
