At the regular meeting of the Board of Education, the Board approved the following:
∑ Resignation of Erin Miller as Middle School Yearbook Advisor, effective October 16, 2013.
∑ The following additions to the District Volunteer Master Listing for the 2013-2014 school year:

∑ Resignation of Ronald S. Miller, School Police Officer, effective October 23, 2013.
∑ Harold Price, Short Term Substitute German Teacher at the High School, effective October 17, 2013, through January 16, 2014, at the hourly rate of $18.02, without benefits.
∑ Adria Rios, TPE Chemistry Teacher at the High School, effective on or before January 2, 2014. Her salary will be $56,526.00, pro-rated, with benefits, based on a Masterís +30 degree and Step 4, per the Collective Bargaining Agreement between NASD and NAEA.
∑ The following additions to the Athletic Event Staff for the 2013-2014 school year:

∑ Erik Tracy, LTS Special Education Teacher, effective November 4, 2013, for the remainder of the 2013-2014 school year. His salary will be $49,198.00, pro-rated, based on a Masterís degree and Step 1, no benefits.
∑ Additions and deletions to the Substitute Listing for the 2013-2014 school year.
∑ Extend the contract with Barbara Carrington for Speech and Language services at Colonel John Siegfried Elementary School at a cost not to exceed $4,000.00.
∑ Disposal of equipment and components by trade-in sale to HP Networking, Catalyst for Change promotion for the amount of $17,831.00 to be returned to the District.
∑ Treasurerís Report.
∑ Portnoff Law Associates, Ltd., to collect the 2013 delinquent real estate taxes, per the Addendum.
∑ Tax Exonerations.
∑ Disposal of obsolete equipment and components by sale to Responsible Recycling Services, LCC, for $1,825.00.
∑ Bill List.
∑ Donated use of the Middle School and High School cafeterias and gymnasiums by the Northampton Area School District for the Dakota C. Galusha Memorial Fund Sixth Annual Basketball Tournament on March 7-9, 2014.
∑ Expulsion Hearing Waiver for High School student number 2013-01.
∑ Donation of library books from Anna Rodriguez and Michael Geiger for the Northampton Area High School Library.
∑ Donation of supplies, valued at $2,012.10, from Pepsico, for the students at the Northampton Area School District.
