At the regular meeting of the Board of
Education, the Board approved the following:
Revised list of Support Staff
transfers effective with the 2015-2016 school year.
Resignation of Adam Bastidas from
the position of Instructional Assistant, effective August 23, 2015.
Resignation of Thomas
Schoeneberger, Maintenance I employee, effective July 10, 2015.
- Revised listing of
Student Summer Help, along with their compensation rate of $7.25 per hour
effective for the summer of 2015. The listing denotes those students who are
pending receipt of appropriate documentation.
- Continuation of the
Community Education Program, with Margaret Schell as Coordinator of the
Program at a stipend of $3,821.00, for the 2015-2016 school year.
- Jessica Koberlein, PE
Special Education Teacher at the High School, effective August 24, 2015. Her
salary will be $51,926.00, with benefits, based on a Masterís degree and Step
4, per the Collective Bargaining Agreement between NASD and NAEA.
- Adrienne Dieter, TPE
Guidance Counselor at Lehigh Elementary, effective August 24, 2015, pending
receipt of certification. Her salary will be $49,198.00, with benefits,
based on a Masterís degree and Step 1, per the Collective Bargaining Agreement
between NASD and NAEA.
- Amanda Bonser, TPE
Special Education Teacher at Moore Elementary, effective August 24, 2015. Her
salary will be $49,198.00, with benefits, based on a Masterís degree and Step
1, per the Collective Bargaining Agreement between NASD and NAEA.
- Allison Daneker, TPE
Special Education/ESL Teacher at Siegfried Elementary, effective August 24,
2015. Her salary will be $46,850.00, with benefits, based on a Bachelorís +15
degree and Step 1, per the Collective Bargaining Agreement between NASD and
Murray, Athletic Director, effective on or about August 10, 2015. Employment
is contingent upon receipt of acceptable clearances and drug test results.
Salary will be $85,000.00, with benefits, prorated, and in accordance with the
Act 93 Agreement.

- Stipend payments for the
above-named teachers during July and August, 2015, which is prior to their
official start date of August 24, 2015. The stipends will be paid for work
completed in the literacy professional development series for the Keystone to
Opportunity Grant. All payments will be made from the KTO grant funds.
- Renewal of the
Occupational and Physical Therapy Contracts with Pediatric Therapeutic
Services (PTS) for the 2015-2016 school year through the 2017-2018 school
- Bills for payment.
- Appoint Dr. Michael
Baird, Mr. David Gogel, and Mr. Charles Longacre as the Board voting delegates
to participate in the PSBA Delegate Assembly to be held on Tuesday, October
13, 2015, in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
- Donation to Northampton
Area School District from Mr. Paul McCartney consisting of 1) A car door off
of a NASCAR race car #18 belonging to NASCAR driver, Kyle Bush, with Serial
#00646-67112-00 and 2) A tire off of a NASCAR race car #18 belonging to NASCAR
driver, Kyle Bush.
