At the regular meeting of the Board of Education, the Board approved the following:
Angela Munjone Masterís - $50.15/per hour
Ann Harrington (Substitute) Masterís - $50.15/per hour
∑ Alyssa Silfies, Floating Custodian, effective January 4, 2016. Her rate of pay will be $18.40 per hour, 85% of the current hourly rate, with benefits, in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between NASD and Teamsters Local 773.
∑ Scott Heffelfinger, Floating/High School Custodian, effective January 4, 2016. His rate of pay will be $18.40 per hour, 85% of the current hourly rate, with benefits, in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between NASD and Teamsters Local 773.
∑ Mr. Ryan Mertz and one (1) student, to attend the PMEA District 10 Orchestra Festival at East Stroudsburg High School South. The student will be attending January 13 through January 16, 2016. Mr. Mertz will be attending on January 13, 2016. The approximate cost to the District is $256.00. The costs are included in the music budget (registration) and the curriculum budget (sub cost and mileage).
∑ Attendance of Ms. Kristin Weller at the Eckerd College Writersí Conference in St. Petersburg, Florida, from January 19 through 22, 2016, at an approximate District cost of $400.
∑ The following athletic coaching staff member and stipend for the 2015-2016 school year:
Anthony Smith Ė Assistant Track Coach - $1,702.00 (80% of 50%)
∑ Attendance of Mr. Robert Steckel at the American Association of School Administrators Conference on Education in Phoenix, Arizona, on February 10-12, 2016, at an approximate cost of $570. The amount is included in the 2015-2016 Board approved curriculum budget.
∑ Adoption of the following policies, effective December 22, 2015: 125 - Community Education, 205 - Postgraduate Students, 219 - Student Complaint Process, 229 - Student Fundraising, 233 - Suspension and Expulsion, and 234 - Pregnant Students.
∑ Deletion of the following policy, effective December 22, 2015: 132 - Alternative Education.
∑ High School 2016-2017 Program of Studies and Grade 9 Program of Studies. Catalog Fixed Discount Program as awarded by the IU20 Joint Purchasing Board for the period January 1, 2016, through December 31, 2016.
∑ Treasurerís Report.
∑ 2015-2016 Budget Transfers.
∑ The following bids for fuel oil for 2016-17 as awarded by the Northampton/Monroe/Pike County Joint Purchasing Board:

∑ A $5,000 donation to Northampton Area School District from the Northampton Area Konkrete Kids Educational Foundation for the purpose of purchasing supportive technology equipment.
∑ Creation of a Middle School Drama Club Student Activity Account.
∑ Accept resignation of Chuck Frantz from the Bethlehem Area Vocational Technical School Operating Committee and election of Chuck Longacre to serve on the Bethlehem Area Vocational Technical School Operating Committee until December 3, 2016.
