At the regular meeting of the Board of
Education, the Board approved the following:
- Resignation of Brandie
Barndt as Essroc Team Leader, effective at the end of the 2015-2016 school
- Resignation of Adam
Bastidas as Girls Basketball Coach, effective April 22, 2016.
- Resignation of Kim Davis
as National Honor Society Advisor, effective at the end of the 2015-2016
- Resignation of Alexis
Donnangelo as Fall Play Business Manager and Spring Musical Business Manager,
effective at the end of the 2015-2016 school year.
- Marlise Kotrosits, a
paid childrearing leave of absence, beginning August 22, 2016, through August
25, 2016, and an unpaid FMLA childrearing leave, with insurance, beginning
August 29, 2016, through September 30, 2016, as per Federal Government
- Additions and deletions
to the Substitute Listing for the 2015-2016 school year.
- Resignation of Crystal
Becker as Newspaper Club Advisor, effective at the end of the 2015-2016 school
- Revised Master District
Volunteer List for the 2015-16 school year.
- Deborah DeLillo-DiCanto,
LTS Physical Education Teacher at the Middle School, effective retroactive to
January 22, 2016, through the remainder of the 2015-2016 school year.
Her salary will be $244.95 per diem, without
benefits, based on a Bachelor’s degree and Step1, per the Collective
Bargaining Agreement between NASD and NAEA.

Mrs. Michelle Schoeneberger, and Mrs. Nicolette Teles to attend the
Pennsylvania Department of Education DATA SUMMIT in Hershey, Pennsylvania, on
May 22, 23, & 24, 2016. The cost to the District will not exceed $265.68.
- Voluntary transfer of
Barbara Watkins from 12-Month KtO Grant Secretary to 12-Month Psychological
Services Secretary, effective May 10, 2016, with no change in salary or
Adoption of the following
policies, effective May 10, 2016: 217 – Graduation Requirements, 815.1 -
Adopt the 2016-17 Bethlehem Area
Vocational Technical School General Fund Budget in the amount of $11,413,426
with the Northampton Area School District portion of $1,982,545 required to fund
Approve the 2016-17 Northampton
Community College Educational and Support Budget in the amount of $59,043,216
with the Northampton Area School District portion, including a Capital Budget
contribution, of $750,749 required to fund the budget.
Adopt the 2016-17 Proposed General
Fund/Athletic Fund/& Food Services Budget with the total revenues and
expenditures listed below and authorize administration to advertise and make the
Proposed Budget available for inspection to the public:

60 month lease with Fraser
Advanced Information Systems for a Sharp MX-6240N copier in the Administration
