At the regular meeting of the Board of Education, the Board approved the following:

·       Adoption of the following new policies, effective June 28, 2016: 626 - Federal Fiscal Compliance, 626.1 - Travel Reimbursement - Federal Programs, and renumbering of Policy 627 - Job Related Expenses.

·       Adoption of the following new policy, effective June 28, 2016:  827 - Conflict of Interest, and renumbering of Policy 800 - Record Destruction.

·       Textbook Adoptions for the 2016-2017 School Year for a total district cost of $114,400.24.  All textbook costs are included in the Board approved curriculum budget.

·       Three (3) year service agreement to Oliver Fire Protection of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, with a 0% to test and inspect the fire protection sprinkler systems at Franklin Elementary, Colonel John Siegfried                 Elementary, Washington, and High School. And a new annual fee for the new Middle School at the following costs:

* Includes the additional cost of $200 for Franklin and Washington in fiscal 2016/2017 per  

   NFPA-25 for a full flow trip test required every 3rd year.

·        Three (3) year service agreement with Engines, Inc., of Northampton, PA for service to the District’s    emergency generators for the period of July 1, 2016, through June 30, 2019, at the following rates:

 

Year 1 - 2016/2017 Service - $4,270.00 + Load bank test $4,200.00 = $8,470.00

Year 2 - 2017/2018 Service - $5,165.00 (for 8 generators)

                  Year 3 - 2018/2019 Service - $5,165.00 (for 8 generators)
