At the regular meeting of the Board of Education, the Board approved the following:

       Revised Mentor/Inductee List for the 2016-2017 School Year including the mentors and stipend payment for the 2016-2017 school year.

       Revised list of Professional and Support Staff transfers effective with the 2017-2018 school year.

       Reappointment of Terry A. Leh as Board Secretary for the term of July 1, 2017, through June 30, 2021, at no additional compensation.

       Resignation of Jeffrey Bernhard as Assistant Softball Coach, effective June 22, 2017.

       Resignation of Adam Burke as Spring Musical Set Design Advisor, effective June 30, 2017.

       Resignation of Jeanette Gilliland as the Assistant Superintendent of the Northampton Area School District effective on June 30, 2018.

       Resignation of David Faust as Boys Volleyball Head Coach, effective July 11, 2017.

       Resignation of Janel Diehl, Custodian, effective end of the day August 4, 2017.

       Continuation of the Community Education Program, with Margaret Schell as Coordinator of the Program at a stipend of $4,053.70, for the 2017-2018 school year.

       Voluntary transfer of Megan Strohl from Tuesday through Saturday Middle Shift Custodian to Monday through Friday Middle Shift Custodian at Lehigh Elementary, effective July 18, 2017, with no change in base salary, in accordance with the current Collective Bargaining Agreement.

       Donna (Snyder) Ruckman, Hall Monitor at the Middle School, effective August 28, 2017.  Her salary will be $12.07 per hour, 80% of the position rate, with limited benefits, in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between NASD and ESPA.

       Nicole Iticovici, Short Term Substitute Science Teacher at the High School, effective August 21, 2017, for the first marking period of the 2017-2018 school year.  Her salary will be $125.00 per day, no benefits.

       Adoption of the following revised policy attachments, effective July 18, 2017:  Policy 626, Attachments 4 and 5 - Procurement, Federal Programs.

       A three (3) year service agreement to Diversified Refrigeration of Dublin, Pennsylvania, from July 1, 2017, through June 30, 2020, to clean, inspect and service the Middle Schoolís boilers at the following cost:  $5,650 at Middle School (4 boilers, 6 water heater, & 1 Pool Heater).

       A three (3) year service agreement to Loikits Industrial Services of Coplay, Pennsylvania, from July 1, 2017, through June 30, 2020, to clean, inspect and service the Districtís boilers at the following costs and locations:

               $2,728.00 at George Wolf Elementary School (3 boilers, 1 water heater)

               $3,790.00 at High School  (3 boilers, 1 water heater, & 2 Kitchen Roof Units)

               $   900.00 at Maintenance Building (5 ceiling heaters, 1 furnace)

               $2,817.00 at Moore Elementary School  (2 boilers)

             +$2,941.00 at Siegfried Elementary School (3 boilers)

               $13,176.00  total annual cost

Maryland as the carrier for a 4-year term, July 1, 2017, through June 30, 2021, with a $100,000 limit at a cost of $1,243.00.
