At the regular meeting of the Board of Education, the Board approved the following:
∑ Resignation of Cora Snyder from the position of Assistant Principal, effective the end of the day June 30, 2018.
∑ Mary Ann Weaver, an unpaid leave of absence, beginning August 20, 2018, through on or about April 7, 2019.
∑ Additions and deletions to the Substitute Listing for the 2017-2018 school year.
∑ Resignation of Margaret Schell from the position of Community Education Program Coordinator, effective June 22, 2018.
∑ Textbook adoptions for the 2018-2019 school year for a total district cost of $214,227.48. All textbook costs are included in the Board approved curriculum, building, and special education budgets.
∑ Treasurerís Report.
∑ Agreement and Contract for Services for a special education student.
∑ Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit Non-Member SD & Charter Schools Special Education Services Agreement.
∑ Renewal contract with Erika Fitzpatrick, certified Wilson Reading Instructor, for the delivery of school-based services utilizing the Wilson Reading Program at a cost not to exceed $15,000.00.

∑ Short term contract for Erika Condomitti to provide Extended School Year (ESY) Services for a NASD student who attends an IU operated program at a cost not to exceed $2,006.00.
∑ Accept, with appreciation, the donation of a cash counting machine valued at approximately $100 to Northampton Area School District from Mr. John C. Pittman.
∑ Accept, with appreciation, the donation of a three (3) year old Bundy Student Tenor Saxophone valued at approximately $1,000 to Northampton Area School District from Mr. Jefrey Miller and Mrs. Lisa Miller.
∑ Accept, with appreciation, the donation of 152 items of sports clothing, valued at $2,000, to students in need at Northampton Area Middle School from Forza Sports, Pen Argyl, PA.
