At the regular meeting of the Board of Education, the Board approved the following:
∑ Resignation of Megan Gogal from the position of Special Education Instructional Assistant, effective at the end of the day on October 12, 2018.
∑ April Schaffer an unpaid FMLA leave of absence beginning October 12, 2018 through on or about October 29, 2018, with insurance, as per Federal Government regulations.
∑ Resignation of Denise Cole from the position of Cafeteria Monitor, effective at the end of the day on October 19, 2018.
∑ Revised job descriptions for the following positions: School Nurse and Healthroom Assistant, effective October 22, 2018.
∑ Resignation of Robert Yanders, Director of Operations, for the purpose of super-annuated retirement, effective August 13, 2019.
∑ Resignation of Terry Leh, Business Administrator, for the purpose of super-annuated retirement, effective June 30, 2019.
∑ Additions and deletions to the Substitute Listing for the 2018-2019 school year.
∑ Revised Master District Volunteer List for the 2018-2019 school year.
∑ Revised listing of Traffic Duty Monitors and hourly rates, effective August 27, 2018, through the end of the 2018-2019 school year.
∑ David Douglass, Special Education 1:1 Instructional Assistant at the Middle School, effective retroactive to October 11, 2018. His salary will be $12.59 per hour, 80% of the position rate, with benefits, in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between NASD and NAESPA.
∑ Extra-curricular stipend revisions for the 2018-2019 school year.
∑ Curtis Dimmick, Moore Elementary Principal, and Elizabeth Grammes, Middle School Assistant Principal, to attend the 2018 Center for Safe Schools Conference on December 11 and 12, 2018, at the Hilton Hotel in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, at an estimated cost to the District of $1,226.20.
∑ Miranda Spengler, Long Term Substitute Math Teacher at the High School, effective for the second semester of the 2018-2019 school year. Her salary will be $290.97 per diem, based on a Masterís degree and Step 1.
∑ Rachel Fackenthall, Long Term Substitute Special Education Teacher at Siegfried Elementary School, effective October 23, 2018, through the end of the 2018-19 school year. Her salary will be $278.48 per diem, based on a BA+15 degree and Step 1.
∑ Northampton Area School District District Level Comprehensive Plan 07/01/2019 Ė 06/30/2023.
∑ Authorize Administration to prepare and solicit annual bids for the following supplies and services for the 2019-2020 school year: Maintenance/Custodial Supplies, Instructional/General Supplies, Gasoline/Diesel, and Fuel Oil/Natural Gas.
∑ Treasurerís Report.
∑ Tax Exonerations/Changes.
∑ Bills for Payment.
