At the regular meeting of the Board of Education, the Board approved the following:

     Revised list of Professional and Support Staff transfers effective with the 2018-2019 school year.

     Resignation of Bruce Gaston, Special Education Teacher, for the purpose of super-annuated retirement, effective June 4, 2019, or the last teacher day of the 2018-2019 school year.

     Employee 1767 an unpaid FMLA leave of absence beginning October 25, 2018, through on or about November 6, 2018, with insurance, as per Federal Government regulations.

     Revised Master District Volunteer List for the 2018-19 school year.

     Additions and deletions to the Substitute Listing for the 2018-19 school year.

     Extra-curricular staff members and stipend for the 2018-2019 school year.

     Robin Matis, PE English Learner (EL) Teacher at Siegfried Elementary School, effective January 3, 2019.  Her salary will be $64,388, prorated, with benefits, based on a MA Degree and Step 10, per the Collective Bargaining Agreement between NASD and NAEA.

     Megan Lieberman, TPE School Nurse at the Middle School, effective on or about January 18, 2019.  Her salary will be $54,703, prorated, with benefits, based on a MA Degree and Step 1, per the Collective Bargaining Agreement between NASD and NAEA.

     Kathy Magditch, Special Education Instructional Assistant at Lehigh Elementary School, effective on or about November 12, 2018.  Her salary will be $15.74 per hour, 100% of the position rate, with benefits, in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between NASD and NAESPA. 

     Ashley Gulla, Special Education 1:1 Instructional Assistant at Moore Elementary School, effective November 27, 2018.  Her salary will be $14.17 per hour, 90% of the position rate, with benefits, in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between NASD and NAESPA.  The salary for this position will be paid through ACCESS funds.

     Adoption of the following revised and new policies, effective November 6, 2018: 204.2 - Absence for Educational Trip, 222 - Tobacco Use, 707 - Use of School Buildings, Facilities and Equipment, and 821 - Electronic Signatures.

     Disposal of obsolete audio-visual and computer equipment/components to       American Container & Disposal Service at a cost of $1,200.

     2018-2019 Budget Transfers.

     Vendor(s) for Fuel Oil for the 2019-2020 school year as to be recommended by the Northampton/Monroe/Pike County Joint Purchasing Board and to be approved by the Colonial IU#20 Board of Directors at their December 2018 regularly scheduled meeting.

     Contract for a special education teacher, Susan Gallagher, to provide home instruction and school-based special education services not to exceed $28,875.00.

     46 month lease with Fraser Advanced Information Systems for three (3) student copiers and one (1) color copier to be located at the Middle School at a cost of $544.00/month.

     Bills for Payment.

     Expulsion Hearing Waiver for student number 2018-01.

     eSignature Resolution for the Pennsylvania Department of Education in order to complete the Safe Schools Targeted Grant applications for safety equipment and programs.
