At the regular meeting of the Board of Education, the Board approved the following:
∑ Resignation of Patricia Brusko, 12 Month Confidential Secretary, for the purpose of superannuated retirement, effective May 31, 2019.
∑ Resignation of Zachary Winter as Assistant Football (Head Middle School) Coach, effective February 12, 2019.
∑ Professional status and tenure for the following teachers who have completed three years of teaching and have received six satisfactory evaluations:

∑ Revised Master District Volunteer List for the 2018-19 school year.
∑ Additions and deletions to the Substitute Listing for the 2018-19 school year.
∑ Revised listing of individuals to oversee Intramural programs and the weight rooms for the 2018-2019 school year, effective August 1, 2018, through June 30, 2019.
∑ Extra-curricular stipend revision and addition for the 2018-2019 school year.
∑ Director of Technology to attend the ISTE conference, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from June 23-June 26, 2019, at an estimated cost of $882.52 which amount is included in the 2018-2019 Technology Services budget.
∑ Mark Slivka, Assistant Football Coach (Head Middle School Coach), effective for the 2019-2020 school year, for a total compensation of $4,035.00, pursuant to the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Stipend may be adjusted upon settlement of the new NAEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
∑ Joann Doerbecker, Health Room Instructional Assistant at the Middle School, effective February 26, 2019. Her salary will be $15.74 per hour (100% of the position rate), with benefits, in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
∑ Lynn Rehrig, LTS Special Education Instructional Assistant at George Wolf Elementary School, effective retroactive to February 14, 2019, for the remainder of the 2018-19 school year. Her salary will be $10.53 per hour which will be paid out of ACCESS funds.
∑ Julie Poniktera, Short Term Substitute English Teacher at the Middle School, effective retroactive to January 28, 2019, for the remainder of the 2018-2019 school year. Her salary will be $150.00 per diem, no benefits.
∑ Mrs. Linda Kney, Mrs. Kristin Chevez, and Ms. Kimberly Levin to accompany approximately 35 Spanish Club students to New York, New York, and Newark, New Jersey, on Wednesday, March 27, 2019. Maximum cost to the District will be $220.00, which is included in the Board approved 2018-2019 budget.
∑ Mr. Sansone and approximately fifty-eight (58) students and twelve (12) chaperones to travel to Orlando, Florida, on March 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31, 2019. The cost to the District will not exceed $660.00, and is covered in the 2018-2019 Board approved budget.
∑ Attendance of Mr. Shawn Murray at the 2019 PA State Athletic Directors Annual Conference in Hershey, PA, on March 19-22, 2019, at an approximate cost of $1,024.17. The amount is included the 2018-19 Board approved curriculum budget.
∑ Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Northampton Area Educators Association, as presented for the school years 2019-2020 to 2023-2024.
∑ Adoption of the following revised policies, effective February 12, 2019: 217 Ė Graduation Requirements and 610 - Purchases Subject to Bid/Quotation.
∑ A three (3) year service agreement with H.T. Lyons to annually service, test and document the Districtís eighteen (18) Back-Flow-Preventers at an annual cost of $2,060.00 which is a 0% increase over the term of this agreement from April 1, 2019, through March 31, 2022.
∑ Treasurerís Report.
∑ Bills for Payment.
∑ A contract for services with Therapy Source for a Bilingual School Psychologist to complete one evaluation during the 2018-2019 school year at a cost of $127.50/hour, not to exceed $3,000, and a Translation-Interpreter Services to assist in the completion of one student evaluation during the 2018-2019 school year at a cost of $149.50/hour, not to exceed $2,000.
∑ Revised master active First Student Drivers/Operators list for the 2018-19 school year.
