At the regular meeting of the Board of Education, the Board approved the following:

       Resignation of Kim Demyan, for the purpose of superannuated retirement, from the position of 12 Month Secretary at the Middle School, effective the end of the day September 6, 2019.

       Additions and deletions to the Substitute Listing for the 2018-2019 school year.

       Revised Master District Volunteer List for the 2018-19 school year.

       Summer School Instructors and their reimbursement based on the current Supplemental Reimbursement for Extra Services - Curriculum and Instruction.  Effective dates for the program will be June 24, 2019, through August 1, 2019.

       Joshua May, TPE Special Education Learning Support Teacher at the Middle School, effective August 19, 2019, pending receipt of proper documentation.  His salary will be $55,903.00, with benefits, based on a Masterís degree and Step 1, per the Collective Bargaining Agreement between NASD and NAEA.

       Crystal Becker, TPE School Counselor at the Middle School, effective August 19, 2019.  Her salary will be $56,812.00, with benefits, based on a Masterís degree and Step 2, per the Collective Bargaining Agreement between NASD and NAEA.

       A one (1) year contract for Ricky Knecht as a School Police Officer for the Northampton Area School District Police Department for the 2019-2020 school year.  His salary will be $42,000.00 plus benefits.

       List of teachers and 1:1 Instructional Assistants to provide Extended School Year (ESY) and Chapter 15/Section 504 Services for the summer 2019.

       Adoption of the following revised policies, effective May 21, 2019:  247 Ė Hazing and 249.1 Ė Anti-Bullying

       A new three (3) year service agreement to Oliver Fire Protection of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, with a 0% to test and inspect the fire protection sprinkler systems at Franklin Elementary, Colonel John Siegfried Elementary, Washington, Middle School and High School at the following costs:

                              * Includes the additional cost of $200 for Franklin, Washington and the Middle School in fiscal 2019/2020 per NFPA-25 for a full flow trip test required every 3rd year.

       Alternate method of billing and payment with Northampton Community College for the 2019-20 fiscal year.

       Authorize Administration to pay final invoices applicable to the 2018-2019 fiscal year and to make necessary budget transfers to close the fiscal year in conjunction with Gorman and Associates, P.C.
